In my role, my commission rate is different when I sell SaaS vs prepaid advertising media vs advertising media in arrears. These payments are also released on different schedules. CaptivateIQ allows our sellers to spend less time tracking our commissions, bonuses, and SPIFFs in easy downloadable dashboards and more time selling. Any potential errors can be easily flagged for our comp team to review.

Our comp structure is particularly confusing. This is because I get paid a different commission rate on SaaS, prepaid advertising media, and advertising media in arrears. I also get paid in commission, in bonus, and in SPIFFs. Understandably, commission mistakes are not uncommon. CaptivateIQ is an excellent way to track everything: what I should expect to get paid, why, and when. If I see anything that doesn't look right, CaptivateIQ makes it very easy to open an inquiry from right within the application and reference the applicable section in chat form. Although CaptivateIQ is not meant to replace our Salesforce reports, I can easily include links to Salesforce reports in my inquiries.

I love the UI CaptivateIQ provides. Sales Compensation. We used to use Excel to calculate commissions but with dozens of commission plans and multitudes of variations of those plans and ramp plans, etc., it just made sense to move to a commission system. We wanted it to pull directly from our CRM and output to our ERP. It's only been a couple of months but there has just been a lot of good feedback and they especially love the commission report that is available to them.

This is way better than having Excel sheets that take a while to complete and having to have constant discussions on what is correct and incorrect. I use it to ensure my reps are compensated correctly for their efforts. I also use it to show potential payouts in order to drive maximum effort. It makes tracking performance easier by allowing me to monitor the performance of my teams. For the rep having access to the platform to view their performance metrics and commission details motivates them to not just reach their targets but surpass them.

We use CaptivateIQ for Sales compensations; we can track our targets at the end of the month and check if everything is correct. It is a good SaaS to prevent any mistakes and it is good also at tracking the ratio of our different kinds of targets. All sales use it and we check it out at the end of the month. It's a good tool to be sure what money we will get on our salary. No more mistakes!

Before CaptivateIQ, I would receive a list of closed deals I was a part of on an excel doc. Sometimes there would be details missing and errors since it wasn't integrated with the other software we used. Now I get an email from CaptivateIQ as soon as my commission has been calculated so I can review the apps I was a part of as well as the commission details for each deal. It has made catching errors and reviewing the data much easier.

We use CaptivateIQ to manage and display commission for our account management organization. It is extremely intuitive from an end-user perspective. My team never has follow-up questions when they get their statements. Having worked with our Payroll admin, I know that her feedback and experience have been positive as well. We do not have the most straightforward comp plan, and so CaptivateIQ's flexibility is great. It also has seamless integration with Salesforce.

In terms of managing a post-sales revenue function, I would be hard-pressed to identify something that the tool could be doing better. It just works. I cannot speak to new business use cases or integrations with anything other than SFDC. If you have a wild com plan, make sure to evaluate whether or not you can build it in CaptivateIQ.

We use CaptivateIQ to coordinate commissions on our sales team. It is incredibly easy to use and sends over reports to our reps to confirm their commission for the month. We were previously using spreadsheets to track and report commission and now CaptivateIQ makes the whole process so much easier. CaptivateIQ was rolled out across the entire sales organization and had received great reviews from our reps.

We use it to track our salespeople's commissions. We also do commission plans on this application. What really attracted us is the ability to do a single sign-on that integrates to our network's active directory account. This in turn helps us to secure login credentials and prevent the ability of hackers to log in or do an impersonation attack because of the multi-factor authentication with our SSO service (OKTA). In today's climate of cyberattacks, this cannot be emphasized more than enough. We also like the ability of this app to integrate with Excel and Salesforce.

CaptivateIQ is being used by our entire organization. It is being used by almost all departments across the whole organization. It solves essential business problems of tracking our metrics, tracking them in real-time, and ensuring transparency across the board. I greatly appreciate the fact that I do not have to wait until month end to receive my metrics and incentive details from the accounting team.

It means no more clumsy spreadsheets to track compensation. Previously it meant using spreadsheets that were taxing to create and took a long time to receive. CaptivateIQ offers very quick and very detailed access to all compensation data.

It's being used by our sales department to give account executives an outlet to calculate and organize payouts throughout the month.

It allows for an easy-to-read breakdown of our commissions, us to easily download paystubs for our commission checks, and can communicate with our managers very easily. CaptiavteIQ works very well for those who are on a commission-based pay schedule to very easily view, accept or deny their commission-based payouts. We use CaptivateIQ to manage commission plans for 8+ teams. As an individual contributor, I use CaptivateIQ to review my monthly payouts and ensure I am paid correctly. It is extremely user friendly and gives me complete confidence that my commission is accurate. Our finance team used Excel up until implementing CaptivateIQ, which created a number of difficult situations related to compensation. CaptivateIQ has solved most if not all of these issues.
  • By integrating directly with Salesforce, I can see payouts for each specific deal I have closed.
  • CaptivateIQ shows the waterfall of payouts and makes it much easier to understand our comp plan.

Currently, we use CaptivateIQ for our commission tracking and calculation. It addresses not the problem of employees having to keep track of their commissions themselves. Normally this could cause discrepancies in previous months, in certain cases. Captivate makes it very easy to keep track of everything from the back end.

It has streamlined the compensation process and the way it makes it visible to all stakeholders. The user interface is very neat and can be easily accessed via any medium—phone or computer. The ability to download the statements is also very convenient and can be used for future reference.

I used the platform last night to view my first commission pay-out. It was very smooth to use on a PC but I found it difficult to use on my mobile device. The list of each payout was well organized and will be great in the future to view all of my bonus payouts. If the mobile site was more mobile-friendly that would be amazing!

We brought on CaptivateIQ to help manage compensation and commissions for our revenue org. Everyone from Chief to Reps are users in the platform across multiple revenue-generating departments. It's helped increase our transparency because end-users can log in and get what they need instead of sending an email to finance. It has also helped operations and admins save time because we just need to set the tool up in the beginning and it'll do the rest until a comp plan changes again.

My company is using Captivate IQ to calculate Sales commissions. It is being used by the HR and Finance departments for the benefit of the Sales department. It has simplified the process to calculate commissions. It has allowed us to review historical calculations and improve processing times compared to using Excel.

Captivate IQ is best for calculating complex sales commissions. It allows you to link data to Accounting and CRM sources. You can also link multiple worksheets together to store data and calculate commissions. All of this information can then be pulled into statements and reports. Workflows can be used for approvals. Historical reporting is a great feature so you can see YTD and prior years.
